Kieysha Jade Sky to face trial for murder of skincare founder's husband

Kieysha Jade Sky, 19, will face trial in the Brisbane Supreme Court following a committal hearing regarding the murder of Zdravko Bilic. Bilic, the husband of HUD Skin + Body Melbourne founder Gry Tomte, was found dead in the front yard of his Warana home on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast in July 2025.

Police allege Bilic was stabbed twice after interrupting a home break-in. During the hearing at Maroochydore Magistrates Court, witnesses including neighbors testified to hearing shouting and seeing a vehicle speeding away from the scene. Sky faces charges of murder, vehicle theft, and home break-in.

Two other juveniles have also been charged in connection with the killing. Sky’s defense barrister conceded there is a “prima facie case,” and the magistrate ordered the matter to proceed to trial.
