Larnaca warship visits and Greek infrastructure updates
Various regional updates are reported across Cyprus and Greece. In Larnaca, Cyprus, two warships—the National Guard vessel ‘Ioannidis’ and the Greek Navy frigate ‘Nikiforos Fokas’—will be open to the public for visits at Larnaca Port on October 1st. Access is scheduled in two sessions: 10:00–14:00 and 16:00–19:00, with visitors required to pass through port security.
In Greece, several infrastructure and utility notices have been issued. Kifissos Avenue will experience partial, nightly traffic restrictions from September 28th to October 1st, between 23:00 and 05:00, due to ongoing works. Drivers are advised to use remaining lane widths and follow signage. Additionally, planned power outages are scheduled for September 29th and 30th in various regions including Kleisoura, Oinoi, and Mesopotamia due to technical maintenance.
In Larissa, the municipality has begun implementing traffic safety interventions on Volou Street, including the installation of protective barriers, following recent fatal accidents.
