Kifissia and Marousi inaugurate intermunicipal veterinary clinic

The Municipalities of Kifissia and Marousi have inaugurated a new intermunicipal veterinary clinic located at 108 Kifissias Avenue to improve the care and management of stray animals. The facility was established through a five-year programmatic agreement signed by the mayors of both municipalities.

The clinic will serve as a center for marking, vaccinating, and sterilizing stray animals, with a target capacity of up to 1,500 sterilizations per year. Additionally, the facility will provide initial emergency care for animals before they are transferred to partner veterinary clinics, and will function as a recovery and hospitalization space for animals following surgical procedures.

The project was supported by a significant donation from Lamda Development. The inauguration ceremony was attended by various officials, including Minister of Labor and Social Security Niki Keramei.
