KiiiKiii gains momentum with third EP ‘WhyKiiiKiii’

K-pop rookie girl group KiiiKiii, under Starship Entertainment, is seeing significant commercial momentum following the release of their third EP, ‘WhyKiiiKiii’. The EP’s lead track, ‘Pop Off Pop Off’, recently topped YouTube’s worldwide trending music video chart and reached No. 27 on Melon’s Top 100. The album also achieved top positions on iTunes K-pop charts in France, the Netherlands, and Australia.

The group has demonstrated a steady rise since their March 2025 debut. Following their first music show win with ‘I Do Me’, they maintained growth through the single ‘Dancing Alone’ and the January hit ‘404 (New Era)’, which earned them a spot on NME’s ‘Essential Emerging Artists 100’ list for 2026.

While the group’s recent musical direction has been described by some critics as heavily influenced by hyperpop and EDM with significant vocal effects, their consistent chart performance suggests a sustainable identity and formula for the group.
