KIIT University holds 22nd convocation for 10,000 graduates

KIIT Deemed to be University concluded its 22nd Annual Convocation in Bhubaneswar, where more than 10,000 graduates were conferred degrees. The three-day event featured a variety of prominent speakers from the fields of government, industry, and international academia.

Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav addressed the graduates, urging them to embrace innovation and fulfill their social responsibilities while praising the university's growth. NITI Aayog Vice Chairperson Ashok Kumar Lahiri emphasized the importance of balancing technological modernization with India’s traditional values.

International perspectives were provided by US Congressman Michael Baumgartner, who discussed the role of education in global peace, and Montana State University President Dr. Brock Tessman. Other notable attendees included Motilal Oswal, CEO of Motilal Oswal Financial Services, and Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. The ceremony also included the presentation of several prestigious gold medals to high-achieving students.
