KiKA announces new programming and film premieres for October 2026

The German children's channel KiKA is scheduled to broadcast several new programs in October 2026. On October 7, the channel will air the 34th episode of ‘Jim Henson’s Doozers’, titled ‘Mission: Lustiger Geistertag!’, at 10:15 AM. The episode will be available simultaneously via linear television and livestream through the KiKA media library and Joyn.

Additionally, KiKA will premiere two new films. The screwball comedy ‘Der Prank - April, April!’, a production of the ‘Der besondere Kinderfilm’ initiative, is set to premiere on October 7 at 7:30 PM on kika.de and the KiKA app, followed by a television broadcast on October 9. The film follows the chaotic consequences of a prank played by a Chinese exchange student.

The coming-of-age drama ‘Young Hearts’ is scheduled for premiere on October 10 at 1:10 PM, with subsequent availability on the KiKA website and app.
