Kike Morandé Takes Temporary Leave from Chile’s ‘Detrás del Muro’, Julio César Rodríguez Named Replacement

During the Friday episode of the Mega television program “Detrás del Muro,” host Kike Morandé announced that he will step away from the show for a three‑week vacation. The pause comes after four months of the program’s return to the air and follows Morandé’s upcoming birthday.

Morandé revealed that his substitute will be fellow journalist Julio César Rodríguez, a longtime friend who recently moved from Chilevisión to Mega. Rodríguez was introduced to the studio audience amid a sketch set in a health centre, and the crowd responded with applause. Morandé said he will resume his duties after the break.
