Kiko Rivera suffers second stroke, cancels summer tour

The DJ and son of Isabel Pantoja announced via Instagram that he has suffered a second cerebrovascular accident, describing it as "más fuerte" than his 2022 episode. He wrote, "He vuelto a sufrir un ictus, esta vez ha sido un poco más fuerte." The event prompted the urgent admission to Hospital Sagrado Corazón in Sevilla, where he spent 48 hours in the ICU before being transferred to a regular ward in stable condition, with "algunas pequeñas secuelas" that he expects to overcome through rehabilitation.

Following the health crisis, Rivera cancelled all his scheduled summer concerts, stating, "Por un grave problema de salud, me veo obligado a suspender toda la gira de verano." He emphasized a new personal priority, saying, "A partir de hoy voy a priorizarme. Mi tranquilidad, mi familia y mi recuperación están por encima de todo," and added, "La vida vuelve a darme una oportunidad y esta vez no pienso desaprovecharla."

Rivera attributed part of the episode to prolonged stress and media pressure, noting, "Llevo demasiado tiempo viviendo bajo una presión mediática constante." His mother, Isabel Pantoja, flew from the Canary Islands to Sevilla to be with him and to look after his three children. Ex‑wife Irene Rosales declined to comment on the situation. Medical specialists highlighted the risk of recurrent strokes and the importance of early rehabilitation.
