Kiko Rivera's Stroke Recovery Draws Family Silence and Concern in Spain
DJ Kiko Rivera, 42, suffered a second stroke four years after his first and spent several days in hospital. He later issued a statement saying his recovery is "going wonderfully" and that rehabilitation, family support and medication are providing the "best possible treatment".
His brother Fran Rivera told reporters he has been unable to speak with Kiko, citing a faulty phone line and asking for Kiko's contact number. Fran also mentioned a recent gesture from Kiko involving prized bull‑heads that hinted at a possible reconciliation.
Sister Isa Pantoja, who was on a family vacation in Tangier when the incident occurred, declined to comment on her brother's health when approached by the press, offering only a brief smile and a polite thank‑you before leaving.
