A wild boar was sighted near Katasumi in Kikuchi City at approximately 9:50 AM. Local authorities have issued warnings for residents to avoid approaching the animal, to remain calm and leave the area if encountered, and to exercise caution while driving due to the risk of animals darting into the road.

To prevent wildlife from approaching residential areas, officials advise managing the surrounding environment by not leaving unharvested fruit trees or non-marketable crops unattended, as these serve as food sources for boars and deer.
