Kileler Municipality begins €2.15 million road and sidewalk project

The Municipality of Kileler is implementing an extensive infrastructure project focused on improving municipal roads and constructing new sidewalks. The project, which includes road paving and sidewalk development, is funded by the Ministry of Development and Investment with a total contract value of €2,155,833.87 including VAT.

Mayor Thanasis Nasiakopoulos recently inspected the progress of works in the local communities of Kileler and Melissa. While works have already been completed in Agnavteri and Megalo Monastiri, the project is set to expand to the communities of Eleftherio, Platykampo, Myron, Glavi, and Nikea. The initiative aims to enhance road safety and accessibility for children, the elderly, and individuals with mobility challenges.
