Kilian Moser to compete in WorldSkills in Shanghai

Kilian Moser, an electrical installer from Grindelwald, Switzerland, will compete in the WorldSkills professional championships in Shanghai from September 23 to 26. Moser earned his place in the competition after winning SwissSkills 2025.

During the competition, Moser will be required to install, test, and program a complete electrical system before a jury and audience. The challenge includes managing sudden project changes, a scenario designed to mimic real-world professional environments. To prepare, the 21-year-old completed approximately 1,000 hours of training, focusing on technical precision, speed, mental strength, and endurance.

Moser, who works at Schild Elektro AG, received preparation support from expert Adrian Sommer. He aims to secure a podium finish, noting that Switzerland is traditionally one of the most successful nations in international vocational competitions.
