Kilmaley reaches first Clare hurling final since 2004

Kilmaley has secured a place in the Clare senior hurling final for the first time since 2004 following a 0-25 to 1-11 victory over Scariff. Tom O’Rourke led the scoring for Kilmaley with 0-11, while Clare defender Conor Cleary also contributed in the closing stages. The win ends a 22-year wait for the club, who will now face either the reigning champions Éire Óg Ennis or Inagh-Kilnamona in the final.

In Carlow, Mount Leinster Rangers successfully defended their senior hurling title with a 3-16 to 1-18 win against St Mullins. Chris Nolan was the standout performer, scoring 3-6, including a hat-trick, to help the club secure back-to-back county titles.
