Kilmer Sports injects nearly 70 million euros into AS Saint-Étienne

Since taking ownership of AS Saint-Étienne in 2024, the Canadian group Kilmer Sports Ventures has significantly restructured the club's finances through massive capital injections. The club's capital has risen from approximately 2.3 million euros under previous ownership to nearly 69.85 million euros.

This financial transformation was achieved through two main operations: 46.5 million euros in fresh cash and the conversion of 21.08 million euros in debt into equity. As of June 30, 2025, Kilmer Green Acquisition Company valued its 100% stake in ASSE Groupe at 82.1 million euros.

Despite a recent relegation to Ligue 2, the club is currently leading the division after seven matchdays. Management, including Ivan Gazidis, intends to continue this investment strategy to rebuild the club and eventually return it to a position of strength in Ligue 1.
