Kily González's Inter Miami coaching debut delayed by work permit

The official appointment of Kily González as the new head coach of Inter Miami is currently delayed due to pending work permit documentation required to coach in the United States. Although the club reached an agreement with the Argentine coach in late August, he cannot officially assume his duties on the touchline until his visa process is finalized.

Guillermo Hoyos continues to serve as the interim manager, overseeing the squad during this transition period. Hoyos has confirmed he is in communication with González to facilitate a smooth handover once the legal paperwork is cleared. The delay follows the departure of former coach Javier Mascherano.
