Kim Ahern endorsed by DAGA for Rhode Island Attorney General

The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) has endorsed Kim Ahern for the position of Rhode Island Attorney General following her primary victory. Ahern previously served as a Special Assistant Attorney General, where she prosecuted over 1,000 cases in the Special Victims Unit, and served as the first Chairperson of the Rhode Island Cannabis Control Commission.

DAGA President Sean Rankin highlighted Ahern’s background in advocating for civil, environmental, and LGBTQ+ rights as key qualifications for the role. The endorsement follows the service of outgoing Attorney General Peter Neronha.
