Kim Bo-mi advances to LPBA semifinals after defeating Kim Ga-young

Kim Bo-mi has secured a spot in the semifinals of the 2026-27 season 5th tour zgm NH Nonghyup Card PBA-LPBA Championship. Competing at the Goyang KINTEX PBA Stadium, Kim defeated top player Kim Ga-young with a set score of 3-1 (11-8, 11-9, 2-11, 11-4) during the LPBA quarterfinals on the 23rd.

Despite reaching three previous finals, Kim Bo-mi has yet to secure a professional title, having finished as runner-up in all three instances. In the semifinals, she will face Lee Sun-young, who advanced after a comeback victory against Lee Mari. On the other side of the bracket, Lee Mi-rae and Lim Jung-sook will compete for a spot in the final.

In the men's PBA 32-round matches, Kang Dong-gung defeated Lütfi Çenet to advance to the round of 16. Other notable winners moving into the next stage include Kim Young-won, David Martinez, and Jo Geon-hwi.
