Filipino actress and host Kim Chiu has used her platform to address both personal well-being and civic accountability. Reflecting on her two decades in the entertainment industry, Chiu shared the emotional challenges of being a family breadwinner since her teenage years. She urged others in similar positions to prioritize their own physical and emotional needs while supporting their loved ones.

Additionally, Chiu has voiced frustration regarding recurring flooding in the Philippines caused by the southwest monsoon. Through social media, she demanded government accountability and transparency concerning the use of public funds for flood management and disaster preparedness. She emphasized that “public service is a responsibility, not a privilege” and encouraged citizens to remain vigilant and demand proper service from the government.
