Singer Kim Da-hyun has addressed the recent controversy involving senior singer Sim Soo-bong during a performance in Goseong, Gyeongnam. During the event, Kim expressed gratitude for the support received following the incident and stated her intention to study harder to become a great singer, noting that she had been unable to post certain holiday videos due to the sudden circumstances.

The controversy began at a trot festival in Jinan, where Sim Soo-bong publicly criticized Kim's performance, suggesting the young singer lacked understanding of music and life experience. Following backlash regarding the public nature of the criticism toward a minor, Sim issued an apology, calling her remarks a “slip of the tongue” and noting she was under significant stress at the time. Sim has since personally called Kim to apologize and offer encouragement.
