Kim Deal announces Live at the Barbican album and film

Musician Kim Deal has announced the release of ‘Live at the Barbican’, a live album and concert film documenting her sold-out performance in London in March 2025. The project is scheduled for release on November 13 via the 4AD label.

The performance featured Deal accompanied by a 25-piece ensemble and the Shards choir, marking the first time in her career she has performed with an orchestra. The setlist included orchestrated versions of songs from her debut solo album, ‘Nobody Loves You More’, as well as material from The Breeders’ catalog. Special guest Raymond McGinley of Teenage Fanclub joined the performance for several tracks.

The accompanying concert film is directed by Cuan Roche. The live album will be available in digital formats, on CD, and as a limited-edition magenta double vinyl.
