Kim Gam Jeon detained for suspected drug use while on probation
Rapper Kim Gam Jeon, also known as Kim Sang Min, has been detained by Seoul Mapo Police on suspicion of violating the Act on the Control of Narcotics through marijuana use. The Seoul Western District Court issued an arrest warrant for the Indigo Music artist, citing concerns that he might flee or destroy evidence.
This arrest occurs while Kim is already on probation for a similar offense. In May 2024, he was accused of smoking marijuana in a downtown Seoul parking lot after being reported by a passerby. While he was initially sentenced to eight months in prison for that incident, the sentence was later reduced to a suspended term following an appeal.
