Kim Hye-kyung and Brazil's First Lady Janja attend São Paulo Korean Film Festival

South Korean First Lady Kim Hye-kyung and Brazil’s First Lady Janja attended the 15th Brazil‑Korea Film Festival’s special session on 28 May at São Paulo’s Municipal Cultural Center. The event showcased Korean cinema, including a screening of director Oh Jung‑min’s short film “Adult Ceremony,” followed by a dialogue with filmmakers and students.

During the ceremony the Korean Film Academy and the University of São Paulo signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate on film and video education, aiming to strengthen exchanges for emerging creators in both countries. Both first ladies highlighted film as a bridge that “reads people’s hearts” and praised cultural ties that bring the two nations closer together.
