Kim Ji-won medical drama 'Doctor X' set for October premiere
The South Korean medical drama 'Doctor X' is set to premiere on October 9, 2026, on SBS. The series is a remake of a popular Japanese production of the same name.
Starring Kim Ji-won as Gye Soo-jung, the story follows a genius surgeon who uses her exceptional skills to combat corruption within Guseo University Hospital. The cast also includes Lee Jung-eun as Jang Hee-sook, a medical staffing agency head; Son Hyun-joo as Bu Seung-kwon, a hospital branch director; and Kim Woo-seok as intern Park Tae-kyung.
SBS recently released photos and video from the production's script reading session, showcasing the chemistry between the lead actors and the ensemble cast.
