Kim Jong-un appears in state media following health rumors

North Korean state media has released photographs of leader Kim Jong-un appearing in good health, following unverified rumors regarding his medical condition. The images, published by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) and the Rodong Sinmun newspaper, show the 42-year-old leader visiting an exhibition of clothing and footwear in Pyongyang.

Kim Jong-un was accompanied in the photos by his wife, Ri Sol-ju, and his daughter, Kim Ju-ae. The public appearance follows claims made by Chinese dissident Wanjun Xie, who alleged without evidence that Kim had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and died in a Beijing hospital. Other international reports had speculated about a possible coma or medical treatment in China.

While the photographs show Kim walking through the exhibits, the exact timing of the images has not been independently confirmed. The presence of Kim Ju-ae alongside her father continues to draw international attention regarding potential succession within the regime.
