Kim Jong-un classified as extremely obese by South Korean intelligence

South Korean intelligence reports indicate that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is classified as extremely obese, with an estimated weight exceeding 140 kilograms. According to South Korean lawmaker Yoon Kun-young, who cited the National Intelligence Service, Kim is at a high risk for cardiovascular diseases due to his weight and lifestyle factors, including long-term smoking.

Despite these risks, intelligence assessments suggest that Kim does not currently exhibit obvious physical impairments and remains capable of performing physical activities, such as climbing stairs. He is reportedly under the constant supervision of a dedicated medical team to manage his health.

Speculation regarding Kim's health has persisted for years, often fueled by his periodic absences from public view. His family history is also a point of concern, as both his father, Kim Jong-il, and his grandfather, Kim Il-sung, were heavy smokers and overweight, eventually dying from heart-related issues. Reports also highlight Kim's preference for a luxury lifestyle, including the consumption of expensive foods like caviar and foie gras, as well as high-end alcohol.
