Kim Jong Un leads propaganda training as South Korean officials discuss Gyeonggi transit

Kim Jong Un presided over the opening of the 3rd Propaganda Sector Cadre Training Session in Pyongyang. The session aims to reinforce the ideological and strategic principles of the Workers' Party of Korea to ensure the successful implementation of the revolutionary program set by the 9th Party Congress.

During his speech, Kim emphasized the importance of ideological work as the foundation for national progress and the primary tool for overcoming current challenges. The training involves various propaganda officials from central, provincial, and local levels, focusing on political activity and ideological leadership.

In South Korea, members of the People Power Party, including Representative Kim Eun-hye, held a policy seminar to address chronic traffic congestion in the southern Gyeonggi region. The discussion focused on enhancing urban competitiveness and supporting the semiconductor mega-cluster through improved infrastructure.

Key proposals included restructuring the Shinbundang Line fare system to reduce costs, including the Gyeonggi Southern Wide-area Railway in the 5th National Railway Network Plan, and establishing new high-speed rail stops at Ori and Dongcheon stations to connect the Suseo-Pyeongtaek line with existing subway networks.
