Kim Jun-ho announces pregnancy and shares baby nickname story

Comedian Kim Jun-ho shared news regarding his pregnancy during an episode of the Channel S and E Channel program ‘Dokbak Tour’. Kim revealed that he and his wife, Kim Ji-min, who married in July last year, successfully conceived through in vitro fertilization.

Kim explained the story behind the baby’s nickname, ‘Dureup’. Following a promise made with Kim Ji-min to name the baby after a seasonal vegetable corresponding to the month of conception, they chose ‘Dureup’ because it is a seasonal vegetable available in April.

The couple expects a son, with a due date in early February 2027. During the broadcast, Kim expressed his joy at receiving congratulations from others, noting the special feeling of becoming a father after the age of 50.
