Kim Kardashian and Kanye West heated argument cut from reality show

Executive producer Farnaz Farjam has revealed that a 30-minute argument involving Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Kris Jenner was edited out of the final episode of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.

The confrontation took place on October 28, 2020, during a celebration for Caitlyn Jenner's birthday. According to details from the upcoming biography ‘Citizen Kim’ by Jonathan Van Meter, West used the occasion to criticize Kris Jenner and Kim’s sisters for failing to support his 2020 presidential campaign. This tension was exacerbated by the family's public support for Joe Biden at the time.

Farjam described West's behavior as egocentric and noted that while the argument was revealing regarding the couple's dynamics, it was removed to maintain the show's narrative focus. In its place, the season 20 finale aired a moment of vulnerability where Kim Kardashian expressed feelings of personal failure to her sisters.
