Kim Kardashian-backed Update energy drink and Pip Organic kids' snacks launched
Update, a new energy drink backed by Kim Kardashian, entered the functional‑energy market with a formulation centered on paraxanthine, a metabolite of caffeine. The product is marketed as offering smooth, focused energy without the typical caffeine jitters or crash, and it contains zero sugar, zero calories, no artificial flavours or colours, plus Alpha GPC, L‑theanine and vitamin B12. Five flavours—peach, berry, grape, pineapple and mandarin—are available, and Kardashian said the drink gives her “clean energy without the jitters or crash – just clarity, focus and balance.”
UK children's food brand Pip Organic unveiled two new snack lines in Waitrose stores: Strawberry and Banana Pipcrunch bite‑sized cubes made from 100% organic freeze‑dried fruit, and Strawberry & Mango Pipsticks expanding its existing range. Both products contain no added sugar, flavourings or artificial ingredients and are sold in four‑pack multipacks priced at £3. Co‑founder Karen O’Flaherty highlighted the aim of providing parents with “healthy, transparent snack options” for children.
