Kim Le Court-Pienaar wins stage three of Tour of Britain Women

Kim Le Court-Pienaar of AG Insurance-Soudal secured a solo victory on the third stage of the Tour of Britain Women. The 104-kilometer stage concluded with a challenging climb through The Great Orme in Wales, featuring a final 1.5-kilometer ascent with gradients exceeding 7%.

Le Court-Pienaar launched her attack at the base of the final climb, successfully creating a gap that her competitors could not close. With this win, she also overtook Lorena Wiebes to take the leader's jersey. This performance marks a significant turnaround for the Mauritian champion following a difficult previous season marked by injury.

Other notable developments during the stage included the absence of Lotte Kopecky due to illness and the provisional suspension of South African rider S’annara Grove by the International Testing Agency following a positive test for the peptide hormone ipamorelin.
