Kim Scott jailed in Michigan following bond violations

Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, has been sent to jail in Macomb County, Michigan, after a judge revoked her bond. The decision follows multiple alleged violations, including issues with her electronic alcohol-monitoring tether and missed court appearances related to several driving under the influence (OWI) incidents.

Scott, 51, previously pleaded no contest in May to an OWI charge stemming from a February vehicle crash. She was arrested again shortly after for a separate incident involving a high blood alcohol level. Judge William H. Hackel III ordered her into custody but provided a path to release: Scott may be freed if she enters an inpatient substance abuse treatment program.

Reports indicate that Scott has faced significant personal struggles recently, including a reported hospitalization following an apparent suicide attempt in July. Her daughter, Hailie Jade, has expressed concern for her mother’s health. Eminem has reportedly been supportive of Scott seeking professional sobriety treatment.
