Kim Nam Gil and Chun Woo Hee to co-host 35th Buil Film Awards

Actors Kim Nam Gil and Chun Woo Hee have been confirmed as co-hosts for the 35th Buil Film Awards. The event is scheduled to take place on October 7, 2026, at the Grand Ballroom, Signiel Busan, in Haeundae, Busan.

This marks the second consecutive year the duo will lead the ceremony, which is South Korea’s oldest film award program, established in 1958. The pair previously collaborated in the 2017 film ‘ONE DAY’ and served as hosts for the 34th edition of the awards.

In terms of nominations, Park Chan Wook’s film ‘NO OTHER CHOICE’ leads the field with nine nominations, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Actress. Other notable films receiving multiple nominations include ‘HOPE’ by Na Hong Jin with eight nominations, as well as ‘THE WORLD OF US’ and ‘THE KING’S WARDEN’ with six nominations each.
