Kim Nilsson withdraws from SEC final in Guestrow

Swedish speedway rider Kim Nilsson has withdrawn from the second Speedway Euro Championship (SEC) final in Guestrow, Germany, due to a knee injury.

Despite returning to the track this past Thursday to score a full 15 points in the Swedish Allsvenskan league, Nilsson decided to withdraw from the upcoming SEC event to manage his recovery. His absence follows recent missed appearances in the Polish National Speedway League and the Bauhaus-Liga.

Tom Brennan will replace Nilsson as a reserve for the competition in Guestrow.
