Kim Se Jeong Cast as Warrior Queen in Korean Drama 'High School Queen

Studio Dragon announced the cast for its upcoming fantasy drama "High School Queen", adapted from a popular Naver webtoon. Singer‑actress Kim Se Jeong will play the lead role, portraying a Joseon‑era queen who is reborn 400 years later in the body of a bullied high‑school girl.

Bae Hyun Sung and Jo Han Gyeol also join the project, each taking on dual characters that span the historical and modern settings. The series is directed by Yoon Sung‑Sik, known for hits such as "Mr. Queen" and "The Haunted Palace", and is slated for release in 2027 on the TVING platform.
