Kim Son Market fire in Quang Ninh damages clothing kiosks

A large fire broke out at Kim Son Market in Mao Khe Ward, Quang Ninh Province, on the morning of September 18, 2026. The blaze primarily affected a 400-square-meter area housing kiosks that sell clothing and fabric.

Emergency responders, including over 100 personnel and specialized equipment, were deployed to the scene to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent stalls. The fire was successfully extinguished after approximately 40 minutes of intensive firefighting efforts.

Authorities reported that there were no casualties resulting from the incident. While property damage occurred within the clothing and fabric section, the rapid response helped limit the destruction. Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the total value of the damaged assets.
