Kim Soo-hyun agency warns against spreading false rumors

Actor Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Goldmedalist, has announced strict legal action against the continued spread of false rumors regarding his alleged relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-ron during her minority. The agency emphasized that authorities have already issued a non-indictment decision, finding no evidence of child welfare law violations.

The legal response targets not only the original creators of the rumors but also those who redistribute, edit, or share content related to the allegations. This includes the use of initials, slang, or nicknames to bypass filters. The agency stated it is collecting evidence of malicious comments, edited videos, and screenshots to pursue both criminal charges and civil damages.

Concurrently, Kim Se-ui, head of the Garo Sero Institute, has been indicted and detained on charges of defamation through the dissemination of false information. Reports indicate that Kim Se-ui had previously used manipulated chat logs to support his claims. Recent legal developments show that a court has maintained a provisional attachment on Kim Se-ui’s detention center funds, limiting his daily spending to approximately 6,600 KRW after excluding a minimum necessary amount.
