Kim Soo Hyun becomes emotional during Philippines fan meeting

South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun appeared visibly emotional during his ‘Our Forever with You’ fan meeting held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. During a group photo with attendees, the actor was seen struggling to hold back tears, a moment that has since circulated widely on social media.

The event, held in collaboration with the fashion brand BENCH, marks a return to professional activities for Kim following a hiatus of approximately 500 days. While the actor received an enthusiastic reception from Filipino fans, the event has reignited intense debate online.

Critics and some netizens have expressed continued opposition to his career resurgence, citing past allegations regarding an alleged relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron while she was a minor. Supporters, however, have defended the actor, pointing to the conclusion of investigations into allegations of violating the Child Welfare Act.
