Kroy Biermann Jr. granted $200,000 bond amid felony sex crime charges

Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann, has been granted a $200,000 bond following a contentious hearing in Fulton County Superior Court. The teenager faces seven felony counts, including aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery, stemming from an alleged incident at an Alpharetta gym in April.

During the hearing, prosecutors introduced new allegations, claiming investigators discovered videos on Biermann’s phone depicting penetrative sex with a family member under the age of 12. Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy stated the videos also showed the use of “predatory, derogatory” language. Defense attorney Jason Sheffield disputed these claims, stating the prior juvenile matter involved “inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle-schoolers” and did not result in an adjudication for statutory rape.

As conditions of his release, Biermann must reside at his mother’s home, attend school virtually, and adhere to electronic monitoring. He is prohibited from using a cellphone or social media and must have no contact with the alleged victim, her associates, or anyone aged 16 or younger. Both parents appeared at the courthouse to support their son, though they reportedly did not interact during the proceedings.
