Kimaya Sudirman Yogyakarta launches Independence Day programs

Kimaya Sudirman Yogyakarta by HARRIS has announced two special programs, ‘Merdeka Staycation’ and ‘Merdeka Dalam Rasa’, to celebrate the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia throughout August 2026.

The ‘Merdeka Staycation’ program offers accommodation at a special rate of Rp810,000 net per night, a figure chosen to represent the 81st anniversary. General Manager Djoni Tatinggulu stated that the initiative aims to create memorable moments of togetherness and provide a comfortable way for guests to experience Yogyakarta.

The ‘Merdeka Dalam Rasa’ program focuses on Indonesian culinary heritage, featuring dishes prepared with traditional Nusantara spices. One of the featured items is the Ayam Rempah Sudirman, a spice-rich chicken dish.
