Kimi Antonelli celebrates becoming youngest Formula 1 World Champion

Kimi Antonelli, the youngest driver in Formula 1 history to win a World Championship, has begun celebrating his title victory. Following a modest celebration with his team after the Grand Prix, Antonelli traveled to Brazil for the upcoming race weekend.

During a visit to the Senna family farm in Tatuí, Brazil, Antonelli’s father, Marco Antonelli, discussed his son’s journey from karting to the world title. Marco noted that while the achievement was unexpected given the challenges faced during his debut season, the family is still processing the scale of the accomplishment.

Despite the championship win, Antonelli intends to keep his racing number 12 rather than switching to number 1. Marco Antonelli also addressed previous skepticism from fans regarding Kimi’s age and his role as a successor to Lewis Hamilton, noting that his son's perseverance helped overcome early criticisms.
