Kimi Antonelli residency rumors denied by San Marino officials
Speculation regarding the residency of Formula 1 driver Kimi Antonelli has emerged following comments by Prince Albert II of Monaco. The Prince suggested that the 20-year-old driver might be considering a move to the Principality, potentially following in the footsteps of athlete Jannik Sinner.
However, San Marino’s Secretary of State for Sport, Rossano Fabbri, has officially dismissed these rumors. Fabbri stated that Antonelli has no intention of leaving San Marino, noting that the driver feels comfortable in the Republic due to its tranquility and security.
The driver’s connection to San Marino is also deeply rooted in family ties; his father, Marco Antonelli, manages the family racing team, Antonelli Motorsport, within the territory. Antonelli has previously expressed his appreciation for the serenity provided by the Republic, which he credits as a factor in his current sporting success.
