Kimia Farma Posts Rp54.07bn Net Profit as Hermina's Profit Falls 14%

Jakarta – PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk reported an unaudited net profit of Rp54.07 billion for the first half of 2026, reversing a loss of Rp135.61 billion a year earlier. Net sales rose 7.6% to Rp4.70 trillion and operating profit more than doubled to Rp152.21 billion, reflecting the company’s ongoing transformation and stronger domestic drug‑manufacturing fundamentals, said CEO Djagad Prakasa Dwialam. The firm warned that Middle‑East geopolitical tensions could keep input‑cost pressures high.

In the same period, PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL) posted a 14.08% year‑on‑year decline in net profit to Rp193.18 billion despite revenue growth of 6.51% to Rp3.60 trillion. Inpatient services generated Rp2.25 trillion, outpatient Rp1.27 trillion and non‑hospital activities contributed Rp84.19 billion. Higher operating costs, notably a rise in marketing spend and increased licensing, tax and regulatory fees, drove the profit drop. The company’s assets reached Rp11.99 trillion, with liabilities of Rp4.89 trillion and equity of Rp7.09 trillion at the end of June 2026.
