Chunichi Dragons seek new manager following Inoue's resignation

The Chunichi Dragons are searching for a new manager following the resignation of Kazuki Inoue. After a difficult season that saw the team finish at the bottom of the Central League, the club is considering several candidates to lead its rebuilding efforts.

Kimiyasu Kudo, the former Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks manager who led his team to five Japan Series titles, has emerged as a prominent candidate. Kudo, a Nagoya native, is highly regarded for his championship pedigree. While he had previously declined various managerial offers, reports suggest he may be more open to opportunities now.

Other names being discussed include former Samurai Japan manager Hirokazu Ibata, Masahiro Araki, and Tatsuhiko Tsuji. Some analysts suggest a combination of Ibata as head coach and Araki as manager, while others emphasize the need for an external hire to revitalize the struggling franchise.
