Kina Dimitrova celebrates 100th birthday in Burgas

Kina Dimitrova, a resident of the Meden Rudnik complex in Burgas, recently celebrated her 100th birthday. Born in 1926, she attributes her longevity to a positive outlook, loving people, and appreciating nature.

Dimitrova’s family has deep historical ties to the region. Descendants of refugees from Thrace, her family settled in the Sulu Dere area after 1913. Her father, Yani Mandjev, lived to be 104 and notably donated the land upon which the Nayden Gerov school was built.

To mark the milestone, the Social Patronage team visited her, and she received gifts and a congratulatory address from the Mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov. Dimitrova is surrounded by her family, including two children, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
