Kind + Jugend 2026 trade fair to focus on AI

The Kind + Jugend trade fair is set to take place in Cologne from September 15 to 17, 2026. The central theme for the event is ‘Growing with AI – New opportunities for the baby & toddler products industry’, focusing on how artificial intelligence can transform product development, production, marketing, and customer communication.

While organizers expect approximately 700 exhibitors from around 50 countries, industry analysis indicates a more specific count of 666 companies. This reflects a downward trend in total exhibitors over the last four years, with notable decreases in participants from Germany and Turkey. Despite this, the event maintains strong international interest, with major brands such as Cybex, BabyBjörn, Britax Römer, Uppababy, and Thule confirmed to attend.
