Kinda Alloush series renamed 50/50 to premiere on Yango Play

The new drama series starring Kinda Alloush, originally titled ‘Son of the Swindler’ (Ibn al-Nassaba), has been renamed ‘50/50’ following a decision by the censorship authority to avoid provocative titles.

The 15-episode series is scheduled to premiere on the digital platform Yango Play on September 17. The production, managed by S Productions and produced by Sally Wali, blends drama, suspense, comedy, and action.

The plot follows Rania, played by Alloush, a lawyer whose life is upended after her husband disappears. Left to manage her responsibilities and her son alone, she undergoes a transformation into a strong woman seeking revenge and reclaiming her life. The cast includes Moataz Hesham, Yasmina Al-Abd, Hamza Diab, Entisar, and Hazem Ehab. The series is directed by Ahmed Abdel Wahab and written by Amr Abu Zeid and Ahmed Hesham.
