King 810 announce new album ‘La Grande Mort or Silence of God’

The Flint, Michigan-based metal band King 810 has announced the release of their new full-length album, ‘La Grande Mort or Silence of God’, scheduled for November 27. The eight-track project is described as a spiritual successor to their 2016 release, ‘La Petite Mort or A Conversation with God’.

Frontman David Gunn stated that the new work explores themes of ‘folie à deux’ and ‘l’amour fou’, focusing on a dark, non-fiction relationship where individual boundaries become blurred. To accompany the announcement, the band released a new single and music video titled ‘Love Kills’. Gunn described the track as an exploration of a devotion that ‘outlives the need for consent from the ultimate authority: Death.’

The album was produced in Flint by longtime collaborator Josh Schroeder and features musicians David Gunn, Eugene Gill, John Paul Vega, and Bryce Ballinger.
