King Abdullah Financial District unveils new Atheel luxury hotel

The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh is expanding its mixed-use ecosystem with the introduction of Atheel, a new luxury hospitality addition. Developed by KAFD DMC and operated by Adeera Hospitality, Atheel KAFD features 214 rooms and suites, a ballroom, five meeting rooms, and a wellness and fitness center.

The hotel includes diverse dining options, such as Riya Maison, which serves French and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, and Cloud 14, a rooftop lounge and pool overlooking the Riyadh skyline. The project, designed by Foster + Partners, aims to support the district's growth as a global business hub and aligns with Saudi Arabia's goal for tourism to contribute over 10% of national GDP by 2030.

KAFD functions as an integrated urban district rather than a traditional enclosed mall, combining premium offices, residences, and hotels with retail stores, cafes, and public spaces distributed throughout its walkable streets and plazas.
