King Abdullah Medical Complex launches health awareness initiatives in Jeddah
King Abdullah Medical Complex, a component of the Jeddah Health Cluster 2, has implemented a series of health awareness programs and field initiatives to promote public health and prevention. These activities were conducted in alignment with several international health observances, including World Psoriasis Day, World Alzheimer's Day, World Physical Therapy Day, and World First Aid Day, as well as the ‘Breathe Healthily’ initiative.
The outreach efforts extended to public spaces such as sports walkways, neighborhood centers, public parks, and various government institutions to provide direct and interactive health guidance to the community. Key topics addressed included chronic disease awareness, the importance of early detection, respiratory health, the role of physical therapy in improving quality of life, and essential first aid techniques.
These initiatives aim to foster a more health-conscious society and reinforce the concept of prevention as a pillar for maintaining health, in accordance with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
