King Baudouin's parade Cadillac to be auctioned in Knokke-Heist

A 1951 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible, formerly used by King Baudouin of Belgium for his official parades following his accession to the throne, will be auctioned on October 9 at the Zoute Grand Prix in Knokke-Heist.

The vehicle, which arrived in Belgium in September 1951, was used during the King's 'Joyeuses Entrées' in cities such as Liège, Namur, Brussels, and Hasselt in the early 1950s. The car has been held by the same family for fifty years after being purchased from a collector in 1976.

Broad Arrow is managing the sale, with an estimated value between 40,000 and 70,000 euros. The auction is part of the Zoute Grand Prix Car Week, which runs from October 7 to October 11.
